WHO WE ARE
Skagit Passage is a nonprofit dedicated to storytelling in the Skagit Valley. Our goal is to foster deeper connections to community and self through storytelling, and that can happen at any age.
Our current focus is bringing theater to the town of La Conner.
We've partnered with the La Conner school district to ensure the high school students have access to the theater arts. This after school drama program has students blend several art forms and trade skills in the pursuit of storytelling.
With funding, we aim to provide:
Access to experienced instructors and mentors.
Access for students to attend local and professional theater.
Opportunity for the greater community to meaningfully engage in storytelling.
